DISTRICT TRANSPORT OFFICE NARAYANPET :

1. Services at DTO, Narayanpet :

  • All 59 Services of the Transport Department to Citizens are made online from 02-08-2016 like Issue of Driving Licenses, Registration, Fitness,
  • Permits and Taxation website : http://www.transport.telangana.gov.in/
  •  The office code is assigned as TS006 for all types of Transactions

2.Functions of the District Transport Office:

  1. Regular Services

  • Registration of new vehicles
  •  Issue of Driving Licences

      2. Issue of Fitness

  • Issue of Road Permits

  1. Enforcement:

  •  Checking of Vehicles for Non-Payment of Road Tax and Other Violations
  • Checking of Vehicles for Violation of MV Act and Rules 1988,
  • TMV Rules 1989, TMVT Act and Rules 1963.

  1. Outdoor Duties:

  •  Inspection of Accident Vehicles
  • Fixation of Upset Values and Condition of Vehicles of Government Departments

      5. Conducting Road Safety Awareness Programmes as per guidelines issued by Government from time to time
